LG GW620 LinkMe user review
This is one of LG’s newest phones. The LG GW620, otherwise known as the LG InTouch Max is proving to be a popular buy for many phone customers across the United Kingdom. This is partly to do with it’s easy to navigate Android Interface, but also because of the T-Mobile tariff that it is currently available on.
After recently having problems with the phone company ‘3,’ my girlfriend decided that it was time to change her phone and the company that she was with. Despite a long arduous phone call with ‘3′ that lasted almost one hour she finally managed to get a quote on a termination of contract fee. As I have been with T-mobile for the last two years and also have relatives who are T-Mobile customers, who haven’t had any problems with them, I recommended that she joined up with T-Mobile.

When we entered our local T-Mobile shop in Canterbury, she was asked what she wanted in a phone and roughly how much she wanted to pay. Being a student it was imperative that whilst the phone had the latest gadgets and gizmos, it had to be at a relatively cheap price. So she was shown the LG InTouch Max (LG GW620).
The T-Mobile Tariff entitles the customer to 300 minutes, unlimited text messages and unlimited Internet access for just £15 per month. This seems like a very good deal as it is cheap and as my girlfriend is more of a texter than a phone caller, this definitely suited her.
Appearance
This phone suited her perfectly, partly due to its appearance. Although it is a little chunky and slightly heavier than many of the new phones that are created today (most notably the HTC and Blackberry phones), it looked as though it had certainly been designed for the girls, perhaps due to the curved edges, perhaps not but it definitely feels like more of a girly phone.
The keyboard slides out very easily whether the phone is being held vertically or horizontally and then as you turn the phone to use the keyboard, the interface of the phone also turns to suit your needs. The keyboard itself is also set out in the typical qwerty keyboard manner which makes it easy to use and due to the medium to large size of the phone, the keys on the keyboard are also of a decent size to ensure that typing can be carried out quickly and easily.
The back of the phone is plain in nature but that is identical to most phones, all you can see is the 5 Megapixel camera lens, the camera flash and the LG Logo neatly displayed towards the bottom middle.
Specifications
As I said earlier the phone is perhaps a little on the large size, however it is still by no means what customers would call a ‘brick,’ sizing at; 109 x 55 x 16 (mm)
It’s 5 megapixel camera also allows for clear, cut photographs that do not come out blurred and show great detail and accuracy. This also comes with a camera zoom and a flash and a video camera setting. This is always something that I have wanted in a phone but often had trouble finding. However I have noticed that HTC phones also have decent cameras now.
This phone also comes with it’s own mobile broadband but you can also connect to your own wireless router (if you have one). This allows the user to go on to the Android market and download an endless amount of applications, from barcode scanners, to games, to books and many more. Many of these are free but some do require a charge.
This phone also comes with it’s own built in satellite navigation whereby it can be used as a much cheaper verion of the otherwise expensive Sat-nav products such as the Garmin.
The phone also comes with a built in Bluetooth system so that users can send pictures and other items to their friends and family and can even be synchronised with the PC to enable you to store pictures, videos and messages in an alternative format.

The LG InTouch Max also allows for up to 8 hours 40 mins of talk time. With a Standby time of up to 500 hours yet charging only takes around 3 hours and 30 minutes.
One downside that my girlfriend has noticed about her phone is the lack of battery power. Although the battery is meant to last for a long time, as she was told at the shop, she often finds that she needs to charge it at least once every other day. This to me is definitely a large downside to a phone as battery life is something that I feel is quite important.
For entertainment, the phone comes with a built-in FM Radio player and it’s very own audio player so that the user has simple methods of listening to music and watching videos.
It has youtube built in to allow for simple access to the worlds biggest video watching site. The internet browser is also simple to use and is set out much like that of the Internet Explorer browser, you can even open new tabs and zoom in on information to find what you want.
Conclusion
Overall my girlfriend is very pleased with her phone. Despite the rare grumble of its short battery life, it has everything that she wants in a phone and for a cheap price. With an easy to navigate interface and a seemingly everalsting amount of free applications to play around with, it would seem almost impossible to get bored with the LG InTouch Max.
Although I give this four stars, it is a five star phone however the short battery life is something that I feel it should be downgraded for.

Samsung SGH-i900 Omnia user review
I received my Samsung Omnia just over a month ago and to date it has been as impressive as the first day. It has many amazing features which i will explain later. However do note that samsung have not released the latest firmware for the phone, so some features you may have seen or heard about with the phones software may not be accesible unless you find and install the firmware update like i did. If you love using a PC, this is THE phone for you.

Apparently the term Omnia means ‘Everything’ in Latin, and ‘Wish’ in Arabic, so the expectation associated to this new generation Samsung handset is pretty intense. Do we expect this handset to deliver on its foreign interpretation, or did somebody at Samsung get a new translator for Christmas? I’m sure we’ll find out pretty quickly.
By the time i had read through the ‘old testament’ style specification and features glossary, i was beginning to think i was on the verge of something special, an epiphany if you will. The actual first impressions of the design however were slightly different, as a second take was required to decipher whether or not I had been presented with a Samsung Tocco, on steroids.
However, the Samsung Omnia is presented in an extremely sleek black gloss finish, and actually only measures in at 12.5mm thick. Not bad considering an N96 is over 7mm thicker. Go back to the land that time forgot, when the touch screen mobile phone was little more than a fallacy and initial attempts at touch operation floated like rocks. I for one remember trying skimming an old Samsung E900 across the English Channel after giving the handset an intense jabbing , with a cattle prod. The Samsung Omnia’s touch screen though is so rich, intense, and reactive, whilst the 3.2inch screen is hugely refreshing and actually enjoyable to use.

The birth, or realisation, that main stream manufacturers can make money from smart phones started over the last couple of years, but nothing really came close to mass appeal until the I-Phone, and more recently the HTC Diamond. Both handsets have great appeal for their own ‘unique’ qualities, but the Samsung Omnia is truly a class above the rest thanks to its awesome Opera 9.5 web browser, that believe it or not, makes mobile web browsing tolerable.
The applications contained within the handset seem to also have purpose, and the ShoZu client Google packages gives great Google Search and Gmail response. The Omnia has a custom built A-GPS satellite navigation that uses wi-fi or 3G networks to give a much faster start up time, which is great when using the feature in your car. Unfortunately though, the Samsung Omnia doesn’t have a built in GPS application, so you will have to buy that, but Google Maps arrives onboard to get you started. Nothing quite like showing your friends your car is still in the drive on a night out.
Ultimately though this is a handset that screams high tech advancements, and the touch screen interaction is smooth and effortless. This might actually be the first Windows Mobile PocketPC that crosses the sunny waters to integrate as a multimedia entertainment device. Incidentally, we managed to watch a film on the Omnia on a recent train journey, using part of the phones gigantic 16GB memory, and the quality was terrific.
Just to round things up, as we do have limited space, the Samsung Omnia also has a 5 mega-pixel camera, built in radio, Pocket Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, OneNote, PDF viewer), Microsoft Windows 6.1 Professional, and up to a 16GB memory.

Rim Blackberry Curve 8900 user review
I had been contimplating buying one for a while but neither the bold nor storm appealled due to the size and the fact it looked too complicated to use. However as more and more of my friends got the blackberry (and the fact I have too many friends abroad) it seemed like a really quick and cheap way of keeping in touch with everyone.
Moreover the apps such as excel, word and access r really great for when you are working (in my case writing assignments) on the move. Its impossible to write a whole essay or create a full spreadsheet on the blackberry as its too small and would take forever but I can access documents I have saved in my inbox and use the apps to tweak it. I also love that my contract – as with most contracts on blackberry came with unlimited push email and internet.. As I travel between london and buckingham every week or there abouts its essential for checking out train timetables, facebook, listen to music (has a 1 g memory card which can be upgraded)!!
The apps I use most are the blackberry maps – really great for navigating especially when your lost or looking for something in particular i.e a restaurant. I also love the blackberry to blckaberry messenger service which allows you to chat (like msn/yahoo) with other blackberry users for free and anywhere in the world – it also allows conferencing and i was on it last night chatting to 2 friends – one in nigeria and one in canada!! Talk about the world getting smaller!
Being a blackberry its not that user friendly I have to admit, it took me a few weeks to really get the hang of it, but once you do you will wonder how you ever managed without one before!! All my facebook, gmail, hotmail and SMS messages come straight into my phone inbox and makes comunnicating on the move a doddle.

The apps are pretty useful but some you have to pay for and are easier used on the computer than on a tiny blackberry. While I was used to using text prediction on my old phone I have found leanring to use the Qerty keyboard pretty easy to adapt to and there are new functions on my keypad I learn about every day.
The downside for me has be three features – one the lack of tones for blackberry messenger – you have to look out for the little red light on the top right hand side of the phone and there have been times when I will not have read message until 5 hours after it was sent!
Another place where the blackberry falls flat is the camera. Although 3.2 mgpixel is not bad for a phone as I am used to sony ericcson cybershot phones this paled in comparision and took a moment for the picture to reset. Deleting pictures is hard as they reamin on the phone as read-only files.
thirdly, I am dissapointed in the fact it doesnt have 3G although the internet is generally fast, occasionally it does hang or take a long time to load a page – in this respect the edge just doesn;t compare to the 3G phones in the market. The only 3G phone on blackberry to date is their bold. The bold wasn’t really an option as it was far too bulky for me and I didnt like the leather back.
All in all, it’s definetly a good buy the contract are reasonable and once you get the hand of all the features you will absolutely love the phone… I honestly wonder how I lived before the age of smart phoneage lol It is not strictly for business as I have found it just as useful more for communicating with friends and families all over the world, and great for those who move around/travel alot. I like the fat it doesnt have a touch screen (like the iphone) and have not had any experience with it crashing ir overheating so far (friends with iphone have had these problems).
The battery life is very long and I usually charge every other day – although some features do drain the battery somewhat in particular the blackberry instant messenger and bluetooth.
It looks alot nicer than previous blackberries and can be used comfortabley as a hand held. It also has brilliant reception and speaker clarity.

HTC Touch HD user review
Now before i begin this review I must confess to being a technophile. I love all things technical and modern which means that i tend to gravitate towards high end devices. I had been looking for a new device and I began the intensive process of seeking a new ~ahem~ assistant.
Upon seeing the HTC touch HD i was immediately impressed by its looks. I had considerd HTC before with their tytn II but was put off by a device that didnt have any style whatsoever. Not with the Touch HD. The device is simply gorgeous to look at and has a look and design that will age very well indeed. I always demand both power and looks. I purchased it there and then. Now lets look at the device in a little more detail.
*Packaging*
The HD comes in a very simple box which when opened has the device out on the top waiting for you to look at. All its accessories are underneath in a well constructed and thought out manner. Everything was there from an extra stylus to a nice cloth pouch to protect the HD when in your pocket.
*Features*
Now the HD is an attempt to marry the functionality and power of the Windows Mobile OS with the prowness of a multimedia titan. And for the most part it succeeds.
We have a 5 megapixel auto focus camera.
800×480 WVGA screen (touch screen interface)
528mhz qualcomm CPU
3D accelerator with 64mb dedicated memory
300mb free space (varies according to market)
3G/HSDPA at 7.2mbps
8gig Micro SD memory card (varies according to market)
Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional
Intergrated GPS
Wifi
Bluetooth
and the list goes on and on…
As you can see the HD is certainly not short changed in the features department. lets see how it all adds up in its perfomance

*performance*
HTC are attempting to lure more than just the technophile with this device. They are trying to appeal to business types as well who after working hard also like to play hard and the features point that out. I used this device extensively for email and word processing as well as viewing various documents and for its music player and camera and more!. No matter what task I threw at it the HD managed to complete it without any fuss or complaints. It seamlessly accessed my remote desktop, pop email, played my 720×480 movies (DVD resolution! at 1.5mbps bitrate), guided me home with its gps (Navigation software sold seperately) captured my overseas trips with its camera and because its running windows it has literally thousands of add on programs that can truly tailor the device to your needs. The device is also easy to navigate using HTC’s touch Flo 3D but occasionally you need to delve into windows mobile which i think will be complicated for the uninitiated. Its battery should give you two days of intensive use. Its video capabilities are rather poor compared to other devices in this class but they are adequate and will get the job done. Overall. It impressed in this department.
*look and feel*
The HD supposedly has a scratch resistent screen but time will tell how it fares. The screen however is a fingerprint magnet and you’ll find yourself wiping it constantly. I recommend that one uses the screen protector which comes in the package. The back of the device has a soft touch high quality plastic back cover which is almost immune to fingerprints. The matte black finish on the device its prone to scuffing, scratching and peeling so build quality in some cases isnt the best. keeping it in the carry pouch is best. The HD is a wide device and rather tall but is thin and has rounded egdes to make it more comfortable. I have very large hands so i find it easy to use but people with smaller hands will struggle, typing can be a problem as holding the device and inputing text though possible can be difficult with one hand. Overall. A solid device.
*conclusion*
All in all I find the Touch HD to be a brilliant device and very competant at what it does (which is everything, except make you tea..) its price though high is well worth it if you truly want a device that can intergrate into almost every part of your life. Whatever you need from technology the touch HD will provide it and more. Its is fast, efficient and looks very good. It also has a surprisingly good camera (no flash) but a poor video camera (low resolution) and an amazing spread of abilities both when in the office and beyond. I own one. And I love it. highly recommended to those who need a powerful device for both their work and play. this is mobile computing at its very best.

TomTom XL user review
This was my first sat nav that wasn’t on a mobile phone, and the first thing that struck me was the quality of the screen. The size of the screen makes it really easy to use, and I’ve never had any problems with the navigation itself as I’ve had on the mobile phones (asking me to turn left when actually the road was just a sharp bend.) Having the speed limit at the bottom of the screen is also really useful.
A few people seem to have had trouble with the satellite signal and upgrades, but the upgrades I was offered (for free) when I first turned the unit on installed after about 2 hours and have worked absolutely fine since.
The unit looks well built and sturdy, not that build quality was particularly important to me as the unit spends most of its time stuck to the windscreen.

The 1100 mAh battery allows 600 hours of standby and 450 minutes of talk time. Enough to complete a busy work day.
HTC Smart design
The shape of the HTC Smart is the candybar, his body is solid and compact dimensions are rather small. , Measuring 104 mm in height, 55 in width and thickness is 13 mm. The phone weighs 108 grams and is black. The call buttons placed below the screen are easy to reach and well integrated into the metal section is the bar for volume control and the button that activates the camera.

HTC Smart Main functions, and multimedia messaging
The Sense interface is highly customizable, since the multiple screens, you can add the contacts you call most often, follow the updates of social networks and save different profiles because the phone is more functional use of the business or leisure time . Useful in navigating the Internet is the smart zoom, which magnifies the images when they hear a double touch. The processor chip operates at a frequency of 300 MHz, 256 MB of ROM and RAM as the memory is expandable by inserting micro-SD card slot in the battery compartment. Text messages, those e-mail updates and social networking are viewed on the tab of each contact. The phone runs smoothly different mail accounts, but navigating the Internet can not take advantage of the opportunity to access the network from Wi-Fi access points, as well as missing features related to navigation, due to its absence in the device. As a hub for social networking is integrated FriendStream.
HTC Smart The built-in camera
The camera of HTC Smart has three megapixels of resolution and has no autofocus. E ‘, however, this flash for shooting in low light conditions. Photos can easily be shared via Bluetooth, on social networking sites or sent by e-mail or MMS. Using the same camera, the phone also runs video.

HTC Smart final verdict
HTC Smartphone operating system features and compact interface Brew Sense making its use intuitive and customizable by choosing which features to include in different screen that is accessed by sliding LCD screen with resistive and QVGA resolution. Connects to high-speed Internet, supports Java applications, and integrates FriendStream to keep an eye on more social networking sites at the same time, an FM radio and a 3-megapixel camera. The price is very competitive, but in comparison, offers a good level of functionality. The main differences compared to a smartphone more expensive than the same manufacturer are the absence of Wi-Fi, GPS that you can not access the wide range of applications for the Android operating system.
HTC Smart user review
In my opinion the HTC Smart is an amazing phone, however as it having being branded with the smart phone title it just under performs. The major let down being that currently there are no applications available for this phone and until further news it doesn’t look like there will be. With it also having a 300MHz processor it can cope fine with running different built in applications, but soon as you run too many at once it struggles. For example running music and browsing the Internet, we soon see that either the keyboard become laggy and the input slows down or the music track stops or starts to skip. The other thing about the keyboard input is that the buttons are rather small, but are still able to pick up on what you are pressing. The full keyboard would be better off for a child or someone with small finger tips.

On the other hand though, there are plenty of good things about the HTC. Like how strong the touchscreen actually is, it is very durable and will definitely do the job without much damage for a reasonable amount of time, depending on how much wear and tear it gets put through. The way it fits and feels in your hand is another good point about the HTC Smart, it rests comfortably in your hand which then allows you to command the touch screen with your thumb. Also it has a 3.5mm audio jack for all standard earphones which is also a plus just in case you lose the standard pair of earphones you receive in the box. The 3 Mega pixel camera takes very good photo’s, also with it having a flash function you are able to take pictures in the dimmer lit areas.
The phone also has HTC Sense and a very impressive friend stream which allows you to combine your facebook and twitter account all into one. From there you can update your status, like posts, comment on posts and upload photo’s. The Freind stream also plays a part in the Phonebook that is installed on the phone allowing you to link your contacts facebook to their contact information, proving useful if you want to see a picture of them when they text you or ring you.
Last but not least i would like to talk about the Weather update function available on the phone as well as the memory. On the HTC Smart you are able to check the weather in any city for the next 5 days at any time. Simply slide the home screen along to the Weather application then tap it and it will update and tell you the temperature at the exact time, what the weather is like. this can be a very useful feature while on the move or while planning a day trip out.
Moving onto the memory available in the HTC smart. The Smart has 256mb pre-installed memory which is handy but wont last long for taking pictures. It also supports a Micro SD card (up too 32GB) which is a lot more helpful and its something you would really expect from a phone like this.
All in all i think HTC achieved what they set out to do by creating an affordable Smart phone. yeah it might have some draw backs but for £100 on pay as you go, you can’t really go wrong.

Apple iPhone 4 16GB user review
I recently had the opportunity to upgrade my phone and for a while I had wanted to get an iPhone 3GS, but as the date for my upgrade grew closer, I was told about the iPhone 4 and I am now the proud owner of an Apple iPhone 4GS 16GB.
I will warn you now and say that this will be a long review, as there is so much on this phone and so much to say about it, so please be prepared to be here for a little while.
I got my iPhone 4GS on Orange, and the phone is black with a silver edging, and a silver Apple logo on the back, as well as the word iPhone in silver too. The back of the iPhone 4GS is made from a toughened glass, which is apparently better for reception, as well as making the phone more slimline.
Just like the other iPhones, the iPhone 4GS is a touch screen phone, with one button at the centre, bottom of the phone on the front to cancel options and back out of applications. On the iPhone 4GS is two buttons on the left hand side of the phone, which allow you to control the volume of music, phone calls and ringtones. This is also controlable through the touch screen. Just above the buttons for volume control, is a small switch which allows instant and easy changing between silent (vibrate) and normal (loud) ringtone modes. I have never seen this on another phone before and I thought this was an awesome idea to have on a phone.
The lock and unlock button is located at the top right of the phone, near to the headphone socket. At the bottom of the phone is where you connect the charger or the iPod wire for connecting your iPhone 4GS to your computer. An iPod wire and a charging plug are provided in the box along with the phone, along with a pin for removing the sim card slot, and a sim card adaptor for placing your iPhone sim card in a normal phone. I found this very handy so I could get my contacts from my old phone to my new iPhone 4GS. Luckily all instructions are supplied with the phone on how to do this, as the guy in the Orange shop told me it was impossible to move contacts to an iPhone – what a dweeb he was!
There is an amazing amount of features and functions on this phone, and when you unlock the phone you are faced with an amazingly clear screen, with beautiful vivid colours and a perfect sized display, all on a large screen. The application (apps) icons are all clear as to what they represent, and the apps are all titled just underneath the icon, so you always know what apps icons are on your phone. The iPhone 4GS comes with the first few apps that come on the phone, which include Messages, Calendar, Photos, Camera, Maps, Weather, Stocks and App Store. It also comes with Phone, Mail, Safari (internet browser) and iPod.
From the App store you can download as many apps as you wish, as long as they all fit on the phone. I have already downloaded a fair load of apps, and have a load of music on my iPhone 4GS and have hardly used any of the 16GB memory, so I am sure you can fit loads of apps and music/videos on this phone. There are thousands of apps to choose from, some which are free others cost but the prices vary from app to app. There is an app for pretty much anything, from games to shopping to education. To use the app store, you will need to have an iTunes account. If you do not have one, you can sign up for one pretty quickly and easily. Be aware that apps are not charged to your phone bill, they are charged to your iTunes account, so be careful what you put as your payment method.
To turn the phone on and off, you just have to hold down the unlock button and I found that the on and off loadings are very quick, especally for a phone with so much on it. The speed the phone does things is very impressive to, the second you touch the icon you want, it reacts just like that. There is no waiting around for the phone to do anything, and the multi tasking ability is brilliant, I can do so many things at once! I can check my email whilst downloading new apps, and I can easily chat on multiple instant messengers all at the same time.
You can hook your iPhone 4GS up to a wireless internet connection, or you can use the data plan provided from your phone provider, so no matter where you are, as long as you have phone reception, you will be able to connect to the internet. If you go abroad with the phone, take the data browsing off, or you will end up with a very hefty phone bill. I have saved a few different wireless networks on my phone, and they are all set to connect automatically when I am in range of them.

If you wish, you can rearrange the apps on your phone. To do so, just hold down your finger over an icon until all the icons start to wobble, you can then drag and drop your icons into any order and onto any page you wish, and when you are done, just press the big button on the phone to go back to normal screen. This is something I had to google to find out how to do, no one tells you this when you buy the phone! This is also the same procedure for deleting apps you no longer want.
Now I am sure most people will have heard of the whole iPhone 4GS can not keep hold of signal if you hold it the wrong way, but personally I have had no signal problems with my phone, except when in the same areas I had signal problems with on my old phone. Personally, I would not let the media stories put you off getting one of these phones, I know no one who has had the signal problems we have heard about. I find the call quality to be superb, I can hear everything wonderfully and can be heard really well too. This is the same whether I am using the speaker phone, normal mode or the earphone head set (also supplied in the box).
The music and sound quality is totally superb too. EVen on a low volume the music perfectly clear, and sounds brilliant. It is a great way to listen to your music, with the earphones or without. The video playback is just as great, online and for stored videos. The camera is a 5mp, which is not as high as some phones, but it is still a decent camera and does take some great photos. The video recording function is in HD and there is an LED flash on the camera, which works with both photo and video modes. I was amazed at how well the video recording picked up even the tiniest of sounds, and there is zoom functions to ensure you capture everything you need.
I was a little worried as to how well I would be able to text with a qwerty keyboard on a touch screen, but I find it so easy to text on this phone that I text more now than I ever have done before. The texts show up on the phone in this sort of MSN style, and you can even use copy and paste on this phone, which I think is a cool way of sending parts of conversations to people and also to forward things like jokes and chain messages. This function is also available from apps and websites, where you can highlight a piece of text, and you then have the choice to copy it, or to send it someone through SMS. I find this function incredible, and it has resulted in a lot of my friends getting many, many bad jokes from an app I downloaded.
The iPhone 4GS has airplane mode available at the touch of an on screen button, which is great for turning off the phone function whilst keeping everything else on when in hospitals, airplanes and doctors surgeries. I find this great as I get to play games on my phone whilst waiting for my appointments etc. There is also a notes section, a weather app, alarm clock, battery percentage indicator, contacts, and so much more, there really is no end what can be said about it. I could literally talk about it for days, but I am sure no one wants me to be doing that lol!
Personally I find that the only fault with the iPhone 4GS is the fact that you can not use songs you have loaded onto the phone as ringtones for calls and messages, you have to buy and download them onto the phone from iTunes, even if you have already got that song on the iPod section of the phone.
These phones are still expensive, and the cheapest way I could get mine was £29 upfront and £45 a month on my tariff, which is not too much more than what I was paying for my old phone and tarriff. I recommend that if you can get one of these wonderful phones without breaking the bank, that you do so, as I can not recommend them enough, it really is a truly amazing piece of technology.

Motorola Milestone user review
I was looking for a mobile phone with a keyboard as well as a touch screen since I got tired of struggling to write a text with my previous touch phone.
My requirements were simple a good organiser and a good keyboard. The milestone had both so it seemed like the obvious choice.

When I got the phone I had to spent a couple of hours to set up my contacts since it is not really compatible with exported lists from Nokia but the benefits were amazing. When you set up a contact in your phone it automatically gets transferred to your gmail account and vice versa. The same goes for the calendar which is amazing in terms of organizing you get an email you immediately copy paste you details in your google calendar and you will never miss a meeting again!
However the downfall is its maker Motorola I had two phones the first with a back speaker problem which they replaced and I got a second one which one button of the keyboard is not working properly (it’s the up button which I never use so I didn’t bother getting it replaced). Their updates procedure is even worst the updates for Milestone take months to get released compared to its droid (American counterpart). Further on the Milestone (unlike the droid) is not a rooted phone so no custom applications unless you are prepared to void your warranty. This is not something mentioned in other reviews I read so you should consider that if you are into that sort of things.
Overall a good phone.
